Old and original Khamseh carpet Shiraz region. Iran. Circa 1930/40. Wool velvet on wool foundation. Decorated with rows of ivory and eggplant diamond-shaped boxes and medallions inlaid with polychrome birds, animals and geometric stylized flowers. Dimensions 200 x 165 cm Some oxidation and slight natural wear (proof of age). Sold by designation.
