Fine silk Ghoum Iran, circa 1980/85 Velvet, silk warp, weft and fringe, 100% silk. A pinkish-beige field decorated with a mosaic of finely drawn palmettes in pastel hues, adorned with a central floral rosette in old gold, celadon and ruby. Four spandrels with motifs reminiscent of the central medallion. Density approx. 10,000 knots per dm2 Dimensions 120 x 080 cm Fine finish Good condition
