Daniel BONNEC (Born 1962) - Lot 124
Daniel BONNEC (Born 1962)
Three snowmen in a car
Oil on canvas signed lower left.
43 x 53 cm
Born ten years apart in Malestroit, Brittany, Alain and Daniel Bonnec have been painting in the same studio since the 1980s. At the time, they were noticed by critic Roger Bouillot for their tender, childlike vision of idyllic landscapes, imbued with humor and fantastical elements. Official artists of Unicef and winners of the Vernon Prize, the Bonnec brothers are now collected internationally, notably in Japan, where they have settled.
