Exceptional, original and important silk Ghoum (Iran) circa 1965 Shah period. Silk velvet on silk foundation. Decorated with bands and stripes inlaid with botehs (seed motif found in cashmere shawls, symbol of fertility and genesis). Triple border, the main one old gold with decoration reminiscent of the central field. Density of approximately 9,000 knots per dm2. Beautiful graphics Good overall condition 455 x 300 cm
