Important Kachan Kork rug, Iran, circa 1975 High-quality, silky wool velvet on cotton backing Navy field decorated with polychrome scrolls and garlands of stylized palmettes of flowers and foliage framing a central ruby, ivory and sky-blue floral medallion. Four spandrels reminiscent of the central medallion. Seven borders, the main one in ruby with finely drawn interlacing multicolored floral bulbs. Good condition Beautiful polychromy 400 x 300 cm
