Silk Ghoum (Iran) circa 1980. Silk velvet on silk foundation. Density approx. 10,000 knots per dm2. Good condition. Ruby-red field with interlacing floral bulbs, adorned with a central ivory and midnight-blue pendant medallion. Four spandrels decorated in the same way as the central medallion. Wide ivory border with floral bulb sowing. 300 x 200 cm
