Large and fine wool and silk Tabriz (Iran) circa 1975. Silky lambswool velvet, silk-encrusted flowers, on silk foundations. Note the cartouches on the terminal silk bangs. Ivory field decorated with scrolls and garlands of flowers and foliage in pastel tones, adorned with an original central medallion with a polychrome wreath of flowers. Triple border, the main one decorated in the same way as the central field. 301 x 201 cm
