Large Savonnerie style rug from the 20th century in the style of the 18th century. Wool velvet on cotton backing. Beige field with scrolls of fine old-gold branches terminated with polychrome flower sprigs, framing a central ivory oval medallion inlaid with a bouquet of multicolored flowers. Pale bluish-gray border with decoration reminiscent of the central field. Good condition 460 x 180 cm
