Important silk Ghoum (Iran) Shah era circa 1960. Density of approx. 9,000 to 10,000 knots per dm2. Silk velvet on silk foundation. Ivory field decorated with a thousand flowers, featuring a central floral rosette with polychrome flower sprays in the form of a stylized diamond and framed by fine scrolls of crenellated stems. Four spandrels with floral bulbs in a motif reminiscent of the central rosette. Seven borders, the main one in midnight blue with floral bulbs and burst diamond-shaped flower buds. Good condition 400 x 300 cm
