Exceptional and important silk Ghoum (Iran) circa 1975. Silk velvet on silk foundation. Density of approx. 10,000 knots per dm2. Ivory field with pastel-toned arabesques of flowers and foliage, adorned with an original central medallion with domed flower mosaics found in Isfahan palaces. Four pale pink spandrels. Main border decorated in the same way as the central field. Good condition 300 x 200 cm
