Tabriz (Iran) circa 1970. Silky lambswool velvet, silk-encrusted flowers, on cotton foundations. Antique pink field with finely drawn flowering palmettes and floral bulbs, adorned with a central midnight-blue floral rosette with a diamond-shaped crown of flowers. Midnight-blue main border with interlacing floral bulbs and crenellated foliage. Good condition 320 x 200 cm
