Janus rug (Northern France workshop) mid 20th century. Wool velvet on cotton backing. Navy field with Herati decoration, with polychrome diamond-shaped palmettes of flowers and foliage. Six borders, the main one brick-red with floral bulbs in the shape of multicolored turtle shells. Good condition 390 x 295 cm
