Important and original carpet from Aubusson (France), late 19th century. Tapestry needlework in wool and silk on cotton backing. Parma field decorated with salmon-pink twisted crenellated foliage, adorned with a very original beige central medallion with polychrome floral composition and inlaid with a vase with a bouquet of multicolored stylized flowers and foliage. Four spandrels with gilded moldings, framed by friezes. Good condition 330 x 175 cm
