YARKAND KHOTAN carpet (Central Asia), late 19th, early 20th century. Pearl-colored, diamond-shaped medallions with geometric flower bouquets in the center, form other medallions with polychrome rosettes in their centers on a Nattier blue background. Wide border in the main color of the carpet, with foliage and flower scrolls, surrounded by two counter borders, also with polychrome flower garlands. Wool velvet on cotton backing. Good condition. 310 x 225 cm
