Fine TÉKKÉ BOUKHARA saddle cloth (Central Asia), late 19th century. This saddle is composed of six columns of six "Gühls tékké" framed by polychrome borders depicting Kotchaks, small geometric shapes and flowers. The lower reserve is itself composed of nine columns of four lozenge-shaped Gühls set on two-tone floral boxes separated by highlights. A beautiful composition.
