Very fine silk Ghoum signed (Iran) circa 1975. Silk velvet on silk foundation Density of approx. 11,000 knots per dm2. Ivory field decorated with a thousand flowers and three juxtaposed central medallions in pink and midnight blue inlaid with a thousand flowers. Four spandrels echoing the central medallion. Eight borders, the main one pink, decorated with interlacing fine crenellated stems inlaid with stylized burst diamond-shaped flower buds. Good condition 200 x 115 cm
