Rare BOUKHARA silk saddle (bag) rug (Central Asia), mid-20th century. A fuschia-pink field hosts five columns of five rows of polychrome "Gühls", interspersed with "Kotchaks" crosses. Seven borders with stylized plant motifs frame the whole. Multicolored rhomboid reserve. Tassel borders. Wool velvet on wool foundation. Good condition. 132 x 86 cm
