Large knotted-stitch rug in the Savonnerie style of the 20th century. Wool velvet on cotton backing. Beige field with sprigs of flowers surrounding a very large crenellated central medallion in the shape of a gilded wood mirror, inlaid with a polychrome floral bouquet. Four reserve spandrels with decor reminiscent of the central medallion. Good condition 300 x 240 cm
