BOUKHARA saddle cloth (Central Asia), late 19th century. Decorated with six main octagonal brick "Gühls" (stylized elephant feet) and secondary "Gühls" on a parma background. Numerous small counter-borders with geometric motifs, arrowheads and leaves surround the carpet, as well as a parma-background reserve with a sowing of small polychrome geometric flowers. Wool velvet on wool foundation. Good condition. 156 x 88 cm
