YOMOUD IGSALYK bag rug (Central Asia), late 19th century. A dark field hosts six polychrome yomud gühls, separated by large "S". Multicolored geometric and stylized borders. Cherry edges. Braided edges and handles finished with multiple polychrome tassels. Canvas on the back of the bag. A fine example of Yomoud craftsmanship. Wool velvet on wool foundation. Good condition. 49 x 22 cm
