Large and fine Nain (Iran) in wool and silk circa 1975. High-quality silky lambswool velvet, flowers surrounded by silk on cotton foundations. Navy field with scrolls of bronze and sky-blue stylized palmettes of flowers and foliage framing a large central rosette with floral crown. Four spandrels reminiscent of the central medallion. Triple border, the main one ivory with floral bulb sowing. Good condition 300 x 200 cm
