CHINA, late Qing dynasty, 19th century. Portière embroidered with courtiers and scholars in the garden in four registers. The upper part is covered with a fishnet of silk tassels. The upper part is covered with a piece of green silk embroidered with peaches of longevity, butterflies and flowers. Silk embroidered with silk and silver threads. Lined. 185 X 79 cm. Tears, wear and stains. A quadrangular embroidery with flowers, bats, butterflies etc. is included. Polychrome silk threads on a peach-colored silk ground. Gansé and lined. Dimensions: 42 X 37.7 cm.
